Matt Anderson

Matt’s earliest goal in life was to be a secret agent and fight bad guys for MI6. Once he realised that occupation was actually quite dangerous, he decided to be an actor - a safer job with twice the glory. Fortunately for audiences, that didn’t work out either, and he found himself much better suited to working behind the scenes where he could write clever words for better looking people to say.

Matt’s debut play, Diagnosed, performed a sell-out run at the 2018 Edinburgh Fringe, receiving a 4-star review from FringeGuru. His newest work, Shotgunned, was a 2024 Fringe smash hit, receiving seven 5-star reviews from outlets including The Stage and West End Best Friend. Shotgunned was a recipient of the Bright Spark Award presented by Scottish Theatre Awards, and has since been picked up for a three-week run in Riverside Studios, London.

Matt enjoys spoken word and poetry, having won several competitions and performed as part of The Redgates Theatre London showcase. His short horror story, Familial, was published in The Chamber Magazine.

Joseph Cobb

As a child, Joseph’s parents sat him down and said, “Son, do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” As an adult, Joseph has more Nerf guns than his seven nieces and nephews collectively and spends his days roaming the flat pretending to be John Rambo. Despite this, Joseph has managed to hold down a moderately successful career within the media for well over a decade.

Joseph’s debut novel, Fat Boy, won gold in the Humour Fiction Award at the 2020 Foreword INDIES and was subsequently showcased at the 2021 Frankfurt Book Fair. His short story, Dear Mrs Carter, was published in The Literary Hatchet and was recently featured on BBC Radio Devon and Cornwall. His short films, GetAway, An Interview with Batman, and Corazón de León were officially selected for festivals in Cork, London, and L.A. respectively.

Joseph enjoys travelling the world, when time and finances align, and his article, Travelling the World with an Underlying Health Condition, was published in the outdoor adventure magazine, Adventure Uncovered.
